Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of work experience in career counseling/services or related field.
• Experience developing, promoting, and managing career services programs and experiential learning opportunities.
• Strong commitment to student success.
• Ability to work with community organizations, faculty, administration and campus departments.
• Knowledge of workforce solutions, state and local job resources, labor market data, and recruiting practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Career Ready Program, including planning workshops and tracking completion.
• Counsel and advise students in career planning, networking, interview skills, resumes, and career decisions.
• Collect and maintain internship and career outcome data and referrals.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations affecting internships; ensure compliance.
• Deliver Career Services presentations to campus and external partners.
• Assist students in securing internships to enhance academic experience and job search skills.
• Develop employer networks to create internships and opportunities.
• Design and implement marketing strategies to engage students, faculty, and employers.
