WSP USA seeks an early career Civil Roadway Engineer for our Herndon-Northern Virginia team. You will support design, development, and construction of transportation infrastructure focusing on highways, interchanges, and pedestrian facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 0 to 1 years of post-education experience.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, practices, process, and design.
• Proficient written and verbal communication for an engineering audience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support design teams in project delivery for highway construction, interchanges, and pedestrian infrastructure.
• Provide technical input during preliminary and final design, including cost estimates and specifications.
• Perform basic design tasks, engineering calculations, and CAD drawings.
• Coordinate with project teams and attend design meetings.
• Develop memorandums and technical documents; maintain team relationships.
