Job summary

Washington & Jefferson College seeks a Coordinator for Employer Engagement/Career Advisor to serve as the primary liaison between the Center for Career Advising and Networking (CCAN), employers, alumni, and community partners. This role develops partnerships creating experiential learning opportunities and employment pathways for students.

The coordinator provides career advising, cultivates employer relationships, coordinates networking and recruitment events, and promotes career readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 1–3 years in career services or related field.
• Knowledge of career readiness frameworks and labor market trends.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for employers and CCAN partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers, recruiters, alumni, and community partners.
• Plan, logistics, and execution of career events, fairs, and info sessions; manage scheduling and venue coordination.
• Provide personalized career advising to students and alumni, guiding resume writing and job search.
• Collaborate on career education curricula, workshops, and networking events.
