Job summary

Empire Beauty School in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Admissions Representative (Career Planning Specialist) to recruit qualified students for cosmetology, esthetics, and related programs. You will reach out via phone, text, email, social media, and in-person visits, conduct student interviews and tours, review enrollment requirements, and assist with enrollment and financial aid.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Career School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Experience in service sales, education enrollment, or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to build strong relationships with prospective students, families, and community partners.
• Experience with or interest in community outreach and recruitment activities.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Recruit qualified students to enroll in cosmetology, esthetics, and other beauty programs.
• Connect with prospective students via phone, text, email, social media, and in-person outreach.
• Conduct student interviews and school tours; review enrollment requirements.
• Assist with enrollment and financial aid; present career opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current students.
