About the Position:

We are seeking a high-energy Career Planning Specialist to join our Empire Beauty School team!

The Career Planning Specialist is responsible for recruiting qualified students to enroll in our cosmetology, esthetics, and other beauty industry programs. Duties include connecting with prospective students through phone, text, email, social media, and in-person outreach, conducting student interviews and school tours, reviewing enrollment requirements, assisting with enrollment and financial aid, and most importantly, presenting career opportunities! We are looking for someone who can create, build, and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current students while providing a positive, professional, and supportive experience throughout their educational journey.

The ideal candidate is motivated and goal-oriented with a true passion for guiding future professionals on their career paths. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment are essential. This role also includes community outreach, recruitment activities, open houses, career days, and other events that connect future students with Empire.

This is a full-timeposition that requires two late nights per week and Saturday availability. The pay range is $ 24.00 - 27.00 per hour.

Our ideal candidate possesses a combination of work experience, education, and professional characteristics as outlined below:

• Associate’s Degree or Career School Diploma required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Equivalent work experience or a combination of education and work experience may be considered.
• 1–2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Experience in service sales, education enrollment, or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to build strong relationships with prospective students, families, and community partners.
• Experience with or interest in community outreach and recruitment activities.
• Commitment to following company policies and applicable regulations while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends.
