Dynamic Works Institute seeks a Career Planner to provide career guidance and connect job seekers with local employers in Dubuque, IA. The role involves developing employment plans, referrals to training, and facilitating job placements and career advancement.

Responsibilities include community outreach, interviewing customers to assess needs, and documenting interactions while maintaining case files and program compliance. Valid driver’s license required for field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services, human resources, communications, business, or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development with at least one year's experience working with computer systems for data entry and data review.
• Previous workforce experience and/or case management experience preferred. Proficiency with verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills and computer skills.

• Assist businesses in recruiting the best applicants for their jobs.
• Community outreach and engagement to support placements.

PrimaryObjectivesofPosition: The CareerPlanner is responsible for providing employers with qualified candidates by developing local job seekers through planning, program services, and appropriate referrals.

EssentialJobFunctions:

• Helpbusinessesrecruitthebestapplicantsfortheirjobs.
• Outreach within the community

• Identifyjobseekerbarriersandrefertoappropriateresources.
