The Idaho Department of Labor in Caldwell is seeking a full-time Workforce Consultant to connect jobseekers with employment and training opportunities through education, career pathways and engagement with the business community.

This role is not eligible for telework. Preference may be given to bilingual applicants, but it is not required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided. A background check is required.

Formación

• Experience conducting interviews and documenting information.
• Experience assisting emotional, difficult or confrontational people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience determining and explaining eligibility for programs and services.
• Experience preparing professional written communication, letters or emails.
• Experience using computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct outreach and assist jobseekers with employment opportunities.
• Draft and post quality job listings and coordinate placements.
• Coordinate referrals, assessments and participant selections.
• Provide coaching on career opportunities and pathways.
• Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with agreements and performance goals.
