Job summary

SERCO is seeking a dedicated professional to assist program participants at the Wayne AJC with intake, counseling, and comprehensive support services. You will help develop action plans, connect with community resources, and coordinate services to promote employment readiness.

The role involves daily interaction with participants, documentation of progress, and collaboration with MDHHS, courts, and other agencies to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in social work, guidance, counseling or related field.
• 1-2 years of case management experience or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of local community services and agencies helpful.
• Computer skills to maintain records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess potential participants to identify barriers to employment.
• Explain program requirements and facilitate intake/orientation.
• Provide counseling and referrals for services to participants.
