Job summary

Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, seeks a Career Navigator or Assistant Director to deliver a comprehensive career exploration and development strategy for designated student populations designed to prepare our students for internships and post-graduation success.

The role will create and maintain relationships with faculty and employers in assigned areas and collaborate with the Center’s Employer Relations Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required by start date.
• Experience level varies by title (Career Navigator vs Assistant Director).

Responsibilities

• Develop advising structures and programs to support student career goals.
• Promote career development events and manage career advising appointments.
• Lead presentations and plan events to help students be career-ready.
• Build relationships with faculty, employers and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Employer Relations Team and CCES for partnerships.
• Occasional evening and weekend obligations.
