Job summary

Miami University Alumni Association is seeking a Career Navigator or Assistant Director to lead career exploration and development for designated student populations. The role builds faculty and employer relationships, drives career advising appointments, and plans events to enhance career readiness.

The position collaborates with the CCES Employer Relations Team and participates in evening/weekend activities as needed; a campus-based role may offer a hybrid schedule after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree by start date; 1 year of experience for Career Navigator.
• Bachelor’s degree by start date and 4 years of experience or a Master’s degree for Assistant Director.

Responsibilities

• Develop advising structures, mentoring opportunities, and programmatic ways to support students’ career goals.
• Plan and deliver career exploration and development activities including advising, events, and services.
• Expand relationships with employers and alumni to support student success.
• Coordinate communications and partnerships between CCES and liaison areas; lead Career Cluster programs.
