Job summary

You will work with another assistant director to support either orientation or transition initiatives, recruit and mentor student leaders, and collaborate across campus to create engaging programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of full-time professional experience in an education or leadership-related field may be cumulative.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing orientation programs for thousands of first-year and transfer students.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate undergraduate student leaders.
• Support development of pre-semester Miami Bound programs and Welcome Weekend.
• Create print and digital communications for new students.
• Collaborate with university offices on orientation and transition events.
• Teach one-credit University 101 courses for new students.
• Identify innovative programming to enhance students' transition.
