Job Description - Career Management Consultant- Project Based (0033165)

Location: United States (Remote)

Description: The Career Management Consultant provides transitional career support to outplacement candidates at all professional levels, including activities such as notifications and group workshops.

Results & Strategy:

1. Provide one-on-one coaching to individuals in transition within the program timeframe.
2. Determine the best approach to prepare individuals for transition, applying expertise and marketplace knowledge with urgency.
3. Monitor participation and progress against plans.
4. Identify and utilize high-value, aligned resources and activities (e.g., webinars, trainings, worksheets) to expedite readiness to re-enter the job market.

Client & Candidate Support:

1. Assess individuals' career aspirations and support goal setting to optimize time with candidates.
2. Consult (virtually or in-person) on potential career pathways based on interests and expertise.
3. Assist candidates with personal assessments, resume writing, job search skills, and networking.
4. Facilitate individual and group workshops on various career development topics.
5. Support clients in introducing outplacement programs and building rapport with candidates both one-on-one and in groups.
6. May provide on-site support for group workshops as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years in coaching, education, facilitation, or similar environments.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge or experience with outplacement programs, recruiting, and hiring trends.
• Experience with technology platforms related to professional networking, job search strategies, and personal branding, especially LinkedIn.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and database applications.
• Personal PC with Windows 10 and printer.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working virtually and delivering virtual presentations.
• Advanced degree.
• Experience with large, global organizations.
• Experience with outplacement either personally or as a stakeholder.
