Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Success Coach to assess associates’ needs at assigned locations and guide them toward stability, development, and economic mobility. You will coordinate with internal resources and provide strategies to help overcome barriers to employment and advancement.

The role focuses on coaching, coordinating care across departments, and supporting career goals, including promotions and placements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a related field preferred.
• Social work or related credential preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Assess barriers to employment at assigned location(s).
• Coordinate with internal resources and provide budgeting and financial coaching tools.
• Build rapport with associates to focus on job retention and development.
• Meet regularly with associates to support retention, development, and goals.
• Complete intake data, assessments, service plans, case notes, and documentation accurately.
