employU, Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist to create and implement a tailored plan for individuals with disabilities, aiming to secure suitable employment within a reasonable distance from home.

The role involves coordinating with Job Coaches, developing new opportunities, assisting with applications and interviews, and maintaining regular contact to document progress and support job retention throughout the placement life cycle.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish) or ASL.

Aufgaben

• Organizes area campaigns and develops new business relationships.
• Supervises Job Coaches and monitors hours.
• Identifies OJT opportunities near customers’ homes.
• Helps customers with applications and assessments as needed.
• Assists with resume writing and interview preparation.
• Maintains regular contact with customers and documents progress.
• Facilitates follow-up with employers and assists transportation as needed.
• Supports job retention through training and coaching throughout the life of the case.
• Coordinates with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors.
