Zusammenfassung

HACLA is seeking a Workforce Development Life Coach to provide individual and group support, assess client needs, and connect them with employment and personal development resources in the Workforce Development Unit.

You will work collaboratively to create employment plans, coordinate services, and support job placement, retention, and career advancement for vulnerable populations in the Los Angeles area.

Qualifikationen

• Four-year degree in Social Work or related field or relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of case management/non-profit experience with vulnerable populations in South Los Angeles/Watts.
• Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license required.

Aufgaben

• Perform eligibility screenings, intake and assessment for program enrollment.
• Develop goal-oriented employment or career plans through case planning.
• Connect clients to services including training, barrier removal, counseling and transportation.
• Engage with community partners and recruit participants via in-person and virtual events.
• Assist employer engagement to facilitate client referrals and early employment intervention.
• Document case management records and assist with grant reporting.
