Job summary

The Worker is seeking a Workforce Expert to guide individuals on their employment journey, assisting with resumes, interview prep, and access to transportation and professional clothing. You will work closely with our Workforce Development Program Manager to advance our mission and support clients one-on-one.

You will build relationships with community partners, coordinate with local employers, and help clients develop personalized employment plans.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong advocacy skills and confidence navigating community resources.
• Judgment-free approach and comfort working with diverse populations.
• Own vehicle, valid driver's license, and current insurance/registration.
• Flexibility to travel between sites and work evenings/weekends.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support individuals on their employment journey with resume help and mock interviews.
• Help clients create and follow personalized employment plans.
• Provide ongoing encouragement and accountability through check-ins.
• Build relationships with community partners and local employers.
• Stay informed about resources, job opportunities, and social services.
• Attend job fairs, networking events, and community meetings.
• Document case notes and track outcomes accurately.
