Job summary

Tulsa Volunteers of America of Oklahoma, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Workforce Development Manager to provide client-centered career coaching and employment navigation, coordinating with local employers and partners to expand opportunities.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and reporting skills; a high school diploma and at least two years in workforce development or case management are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in workforce development, case management, or related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and motivational interviewing skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with MS Office and case management software.
• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized career assessments to identify participants’ skills, barriers, and employment readiness.
• Develop and monitor Individual Employment Plans (IEPs) with participants to set measurable employment goals and steps toward self-sufficiency.
• Assist with job search, resume development, interview preparation, and ongoing employment coaching.
• Connect participants with supportive services needed to sustain employment.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with employers, workforce development agencies, educational and training providers, and community organizations to expand opportunities.
• Coordinate and communicate with program partners, case managers, and referral agencies to ensure wraparound support.
• Represent the organization at community events, job fairs, and workshops to promote employment services.
