Job summary

Public Strategies is seeking a Facilitator/Career Coach to support programs focused on workforce development, education, and employment for low-income families at the Main Facility in Oklahoma City. You will work with groups and individuals to assess barriers, build skills, and connect clients to resources to improve economic self-sufficiency.

The role involves documenting interactions, providing referrals, and collaborating with teams to create effective employment pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent experience required.
• Experience with community and/or family engagement in low-income communities required.
• Experience with trauma-informed care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group activities and individual discussions to reinforce workshop content.
• Assess participants' skill levels and education/training needs.
• Support light to moderate caseloads using case management principles.
• Develop individual plans and reinforce curriculum with participants.
• Collaborate with employment/training teams to identify opportunities.
• Guide participants on pathways toward self-sufficiency.
• Assist with resume/cover letter development and job applications.
• Coordinate supports to reduce barriers and aid workshop attendance.
