Tallahassee State College is seeking a Career Development Specialist for the Okaloosa Correctional Institution. This full-time, grant-funded role focuses on administering assessments and delivering the 100-Hour Transition Skills Program to eligible participants in a correctional setting, as directed by the Lead Educator.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's Degree or high school diploma with relevant experience in workforce development or corrections, and are proficient in Microsoft Office and

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or high school diploma required with 2 years in workforce development, social services, or corrections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret assessments.
• Deliver the 100-hour Transition Skills Program.
• Deliver other Department programs as directed.
• Document services delivered.
• Report attendance, enrollments, and completions on the DC5-149 form.
• Provide pre-release connections for inmate release planning.
• Assist with hiring events, mock interviews, and readiness portfolios.
