Job summary

Babson College's Center for Career Development in Wellesley, MA seeks an experienced career advisor to guide students in developing internship and full-time job search strategies, and to coach them toward set goals.

You will lead resume critiques, LinkedIn guidance, mock interviews, and design workshops with faculty and alumni; collaborate with recruiters to provide real-time career opportunities. A Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years' experience are required; on-site role with some evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in corporate and/or higher education environments preferred.
• Familiarity with career development principles and practices.
• Comfort navigating web platforms (WebEx, Zoom, Teams) and delivering webinar content.
• Ability to track, measure, and deliver value-added program results.
• Strong communication, presentation, and counseling skills.
• Customer service orientation with a proactive, self-motivated mindset.
• Team player with adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group student advising on career development and job/internship search strategies.
• Functions as industry liaison for career exploration using office resources and online tools.
• Guides resumes, LinkedIn guidance, and conducts mock interviews for domestic and international searches.
• Designs and delivers workshops and programs with the CCD team, engaging student clubs.
• Partners with industry recruiters and alumni to connect students with opportunities.
• Collaborates with recruiting to stay current on trends and share insights.
• Represents Babson College at external functions and in committees; shares best practices externally.
• Contributes to marketing of the Center for Career Development and maintains publications.
