Job summary

Southwest-Key-Programs in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a Career Coach to support TANF, SNAP and ABAWD participants. You will perform eligibility checks, assess needs, create employment plans and manage cases to help participants reach self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities include coordinating childcare and transportation, following up on progress, and maintaining confidential records in TWIST/WIT/COLTS. Some travel and telework may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree preferred or 60 credits with 3 years full-time qualifying experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have own transportation to perform duties.
• Professional appearance and attire required.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and verify eligibility for TANF/SNAP/ABAWD/NCP programs.
• Conduct assessments to identify participant needs and develop employment plans.
• Deliver case management and monitor progress while maintaining confidentiality.
• Coordinate childcare, transportation, and work-related support services.
• Follow up to document activities and outcomes, updating TWIST/WIT/COLTS systems.
• Prepare and monitor case documentation throughout participation; facilitate orientations as needed.
