• Review internal CLIENT and external records, files and documents regarding incident investigations, liability and damage evaluation, and claims negotiation and settlements.

Description:

ONLY CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING WITHIN CLIENT SERVICE TERRITORY. ROLE IS PRIMARILY REMOTE WITH INFREQUENT HYBRID NECESSITY FOR MEETINGS IN OAKLAND OR SAN RAMON. CLIENT LAPTOP OR VDI WILL BE ISSUED. ANY ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT TO BE PROVIDED BY SUPPLIER. MILEAGE CA BE EXPENSED WITH MANAGER PRIOR APPROVAL IF TRAVELING OUTSIDE OF HOME OFFICE.

QualificationsMinimum

• 2 years of experience handling claims investigations
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Desired:

• Certified Insurance Claims Investigator (CICI)
• California Claims Adjuster license
• 4 years of experience as a claims investigator or related experience
• Experience investigating and/or administering bodily injury, property damage, and insurance claims and litigation
• Utility industry experience
• Knowledge and understanding of insurance claims, specifically casualty claims adjustment
• Knowledge and understanding of claims management, investigations, and settlements
• Knowledge and understanding of tort and contract law
• Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
• Demonstrated ability to interact and engage multiple levels of management, leadership, personnel, and unions within an organization
• Strong client investigation and resolution skills
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong business and technical composition skills
• Strong oral communication and presentation skills
