Finezi Inc. is seeking a claims investigator to handle property damage cases primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings in Oakland or San Ramon. You will investigate, negotiate, and settle third-party property claims, and report on incidents that may lead to litigation.

You will interview employees and third parties, analyze claims data for trends, and review records related to investigations, liability, and settlements. A BA/BS and 2 years' relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience handling claims investigations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsabilités

Job Responsibilities

• Investigate, negotiate, and settle third party property damage.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Bachelor’s (BA/BS) degree or equivalent experience


• 2 years of experience handling claims investigations


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Additional Qualifications

• Certified Insurance Claims Investigator (CICI)


• 4 years of experience as a claims investigator or related experience


• Experience investigating and/or administering bodily injury, property damage, and insurance claims and litigation


• Utility industry experience


• Knowledge and understanding of insurance claims, specifically casualty claims adjustment


• Knowledge and understanding of claims management, investigations, and settlements


• Knowledge and understanding of tort and contract law


• Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology


• Demonstrated ability to interact and engage multiple levels of management, leadership, personnel, and unions within an organization


• Strong client investigation and resolution skills
