Educational Data Systems, Inc. is seeking a Resource Room Specialist to provide front-line support to PA CareerLink customers, assist jobseekers with job searches, digital intake, and navigation of workforce systems in a busy resource room.

The role includes outreach for dislocated workers, coordination with partners, and ensuring a welcoming, organized environment while guiding users through CWDS, ID.me, and BenMod platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated telephone, computer, and written communication skills.
• Able to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude.
• Bilingual – Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Resource Room and Customer Support: Assist customers in the resource room and computer lab; guide jobseekers with online applications; help with registrations and enrollment processes.
• Intake and System Navigation: Help visitors complete Digital Intake Forms; enter data into CWDS; navigate workforce systems (BenMod, ID.me).
• Outreach and Engagement: Conduct outreach to dislocated workers; follow up to encourage service engagement; track outcomes.
• Program Awareness and Orientation: Inform jobseekers about PA CareerLink services; assist with welcome orientations and informational sessions.
• Resource Room Operations: Keep materials current and organize; maintain a welcoming environment in service areas.
• Collaboration and General Support: Maintain relations with partner staff and provide general customer service.
