Job summary

Educational Data Systems, Inc. is seeking a Business Services Representative in Luzerne County (Hazleton area) to serve as the point person for PA CareerLink business services.

You will work with employers to promote job leads, match program participants to job openings and paid work experiences, and support youth and adults toward life-sustaining employment. Responsibilities include building employer relationships, conducting outreach, coordinating events, assisting with CWDS/PA CareerLink site

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build relationships with Luzerne County employers to understand hiring needs and connect them with resources.
• Conduct outreach to employers via cold calls and in-person visits; follow up and document outcomes.
• Assist in planning and promoting events and job fairs; participate in offsite outreach.
• Maintain CWDS/PA CareerLink website postings, approvals, and profile verifications; respond to posting inquiries.
• Communicate new job openings to the team and CareerLink partners; match participants with opportunities.
• Meet with participants regularly to review goals and provide job leads; coordinate referrals with Career Navigators.
• Travel within Luzerne County to meetings, partner development, and worksite visits; collect timecards and monitor progress.
