City of Savannah is seeking a Workforce Resource Specialist to greet and register visitors at the WorkSource Coastal Job Center Hub, explaining available services and guiding customers through career resources.

You will support USDOL-ETA Workforce Act orientation, assist with intake, scheduling, and follow-up, and maintain confidential, well-documented records. This role requires customer-service excellence and the ability to work across hubs and in-person or virtual settings.

Formación

• High school diploma with five years of experience or equivalent; related coursework or an associate degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite/Microsoft 365, web applications, scanners, digital forms, and basic office equipment.
• Ability to travel to assigned locations and have valid driver’s license.
• Must report to work at assigned WorkSource Coastal Job Center Hub and travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Greets customers, explains services, directs to staff and workshops.
• Conducts WorkSource Act orientation: assessments, enrollment steps, and responsibilities.
• Provides basic career assistance with WorkSource Georgia Portal and job search tools.
• Prepares training space and assists with workshops.
• Completes program intake forms for Youth, Adult, and Dislocated Worker eligibility.
• Schedules assessments and appointments and assists with routine paperwork.
