Job summary

The University of North Texas System is seeking a Student Services Coordinator for the UNT Career Center in Denton. You will lead career development efforts, coordinate internships, and collaborate with PAHS departments to connect students with opportunities.

The job requires excellent public speaking and workshop delivery, strong communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree with two years' experience (Master's preferred). This is a full-time, on-site role with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 2 years in student services or related work.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles in Career Services or related disciplines.
• Strong public speaking, workshop delivery and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze students' career paths and advise on resumes and interviews.
• Develop and conduct career workshops and seminars to engage students.
• Interface with students and alumni across assigned departments and programs to facilitate opportunities.
• Assess career programs and deliver reports to supervisor.
• Build ongoing relationships with faculty, staff, and administration in assigned areas.
• Lead job market research to provide current data for faculty and students.
• Maintain and update career center information on the website for the assigned college(s).
