Job summary

University of North Texas is hiring a Student Services Coordinator (Career Coach) to join the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences team in Denton. You will serve as the primary career advisor for CLASS students, offering one-on-one coaching, readiness instruction, and group workshops to promote internships and job searches.

You will collaborate with majors, faculty and employers to expand opportunities and support student career success, with regular events and reporting on engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and two years of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Interface with students seeking guidance on employment, career development, internships and related issues.
• Analyze students' career paths, provide resume advice, interview prep and internship/job resources.
• Develop and conduct career workshops and seminars, including university courses.
• Build relationships with faculty, staff and administration to support CLASS students.
• Collaborate with employers and alumni to engage students on campus.
• Develop reports on student engagement data for the Career Center.
• Assist other staff with event program management as needed.
