Job summary

Educational Data Systems (EDSI) in Delaware County seeks a professional to deliver career services to jobseekers and employers. You will determine eligibility, develop employment plans, and manage a caseload of 50-75 Title I participants in coordination with the Business Services Team to create sustainable opportunities.

You will provide staff-assisted job search guidance, labor market information, CWDS data entry, and maintain compliant participant files.

Qualifications

• Experience providing excellent service to jobseekers and employers.
• Ability to work with unemployed, underemployed, displaced workers and other disadvantaged populations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document all aspects of services provided.
• Demonstrated communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide follow-up activities per program guidelines.
• Represent EDSI on committees and workgroups.

Salary: $48,000/year

Scope of Position

Provide excellent customer-centered services designed to enhance and re-engage job seekers into the workforce, while working closely with the Business Services Team to ensure that sustainable career opportunities are available for all job seekers.

Essential Functions

• Provide information about CareerLink services and the services of partner agencies and organizations to jobseekers
• Complete eligibility determinations for individuals seeking services
• Create individual employment plans for individuals seeking services
• Maintain a caseload of 50-75 Title I program participants
• Refer to financial navigator and community resources as appropriate
• Provide “staff-assisted job search” services in the form of career guidance, job leads, and current labor market information
• Administer suitability assessments for individuals pursuing training opportunities
• Complete necessary WIOA data entry requirements on CWDS
• Maintain participant files in accordance with state and local regulations
• Provide follow-up activities according to program guidelines
• Represent EDSI on various committees and workgroups as assigned
• Other opportunities as available
