Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking a Care Worker to deliver At Home Services across Cumberland and surrounding areas. You will help with daily activities, transport and personal care, enabling clients to live independently in their own homes.

This permanent part-time role offers flexible hours across up to 60 hours per fortnight, with support from a dedicated supervisor and development opportunities. Applicants must hold a valid Australian driver license and be comfortable with mobile tech.

As a Care Worker supporting clients in the Cumberland and surrounding areas, you will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

This is a permanent part time role offering up to 60 hours per fortnight.

How We Support You

• Earn $32.86/hr (unqualified) - $34.59/hr (qualified) plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time* and mileage between clients. *To help ease some of the pressure from rising fuel costs, employees who claim Vehicle/Travel (per km) reimbursement will receive a temporary increase of 5 cents per kilometre for all reimbursable journeys until May 2026, pending review.

You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience.
