Job summary

BaptistCare Warena is seeking Catering/Servery Assistants on a Casual basis to present and deliver high quality nutritious meals to our residents. A variety of AM and PM shifts are available, with a supportive team in a large care environment.

We offer competitive hourly rates from $27.77 to $29.98, plus superannuation, penalties and salary packaging, along with benefits that support wellbeing and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen/servery experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of work health and safety practices.
• Ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks.
• Previous experience in aged care (desirable).
• Willingness to work as part of a busy, friendly team.
• Strong focus, positive attitude and is well organised.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Present and deliver high quality nutritious meals to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and service in a busy servery.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
