Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Care Technician at our Health Center in Clermont, FL. You will provide care to client employees and dependents, perform phlebotomy, labs, and routine tests while building strong patient relationships.

The role features a Monday–Thursday 9a-6p and Friday 8a-5p schedule with no evenings or weekends, joining a close-knit clinic serving county employees and families.

Qualifications

• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant Program training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measures vital signs.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Performs routine CLIA waived laboratory tests, operates EKG and other diagnostic equipment, and collects specimens.
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Care Technician, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Clermont, FL.The scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 9a-6p; Friday 8a-5p.

• Put your clinical skills to work every day through rooming, labs, point-of-care testing, drug screens, pre-employment exams, and daily phlebotomy while building strong patient relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Performs routine CLIA waived laboratory tests, operates EKG and other diagnostic equipment, and collects specimens.
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned
