Job summary

Premise Health Inc. seeks a Full Time Care Technician to provide care to client employees and dependents at the Health Center in Clermont, Florida. The role involves rooming patients, performing routine lab tests, phlebotomy, and daily patient interactions with a patient-focused team.

The position supports a Monday-Friday schedule with standard daytime hours, enabling work-life balance and opportunities to contribute to a community health-focused clinic.

Qualifications

• Current certification with hands-on BLS or equivalent (AHA/ARC).
• Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical/ Nursing Assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs.
• Maintains patient health records with accuracy.
• Prepares treatment rooms and sterilizes instruments.
• Performs routine CLIA waived lab tests and operates EKG.
• Schedules appointments and assists front desk; orders supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Care Technician, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Clermont, FLThe scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 9a-6p; Friday 8a-5p.

• Monday - Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends, offering a consistent work-life balance.
• Join a close-knit, patient-focused clinic team serving county employees, law enforcement, and their families.
• Put your clinical skills to work every day through rooming, labs, point-of-care testing, drug screens, pre-employment exams, and daily phlebotomy while building strong patient relationships.

What You'll Do

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Performs routine CLIA waived laboratory tests, operates EKG and other diagnostic equipment, and collects specimens.
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant Program training program preferred.
