Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Clermont, FL is seeking a Full Time Phlebotomist to provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center. Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9a-6p; Friday 8a-5p, with a Monday–Friday workflow and no evenings or weekends.

You’ll perform rooming, labs, point-of-care testing, drug screens, pre-employment exams and daily phlebotomy, building strong patient relationships in a close-knit clinic serving county employees and families.

Qualifications

• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization or certificate/diploma with hands-on externship.
• BLS/CPR certification is required for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy procedures on clients and dependents.
• Assists with rooming and specimen collection.
• Maintains accurate patient health records.
• Ensures safety and infection control guidelines are followed.

As a Full Time Phlebotomis t, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Clermont, FL. The scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 9a-6p; Friday 8a-5p.

• Put your clinical skills to work every day through rooming, labs, point-of-care testing, drug screens, pre-employment exams, and daily phlebotomy while building strong patient relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Works independently and in accordance with safety and organizational policies and procedures
• Assists with supply inventory
• May instruct phlebotomy procedure for new employees
• Understands and abides by all of industry standards and Premise Health infection control guidelines and safety procedures;
• Knowledge of use of SDS material and emergency equipment in facility
• Proficient in phlebotomy skills, specimen collection, processing and assessing vital signs for patients
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not acceptable
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
