Job summary

CareCore at Lakeridge is seeking an organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role coordinates nursing schedules for nurses and STNAs, manages resident transportation, and coordinates outside medical appointments.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, stays organized in a fast-paced long-term care setting, and adapts quickly to changing scheduling needs. Prior scheduling experience, STNA preferred, and a valid driver's license are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Scheduling experience preferred.
• STNA certification preferred.
• Long-term care or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to handle last-minute changes in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be at least 25 years old to drive company vehicle and have a valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain schedules for nurses and STNAs.
• Coordinate coverage for call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.
• Communicate scheduling changes with nursing staff and leadership.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels based on facility needs.
• Schedule and coordinate resident medical appointments.
• Arrange resident transportation to and from appointments.
• Drive the company vehicle for resident transportation as needed.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and transportation records.
• Communicate with residents, families, nursing staff, and outside providers regarding appointments and transportation.
• Assist with other administrative and scheduling duties as needed.
