Job summary

CareCore at Meadows in Dayton, OH is seeking a dependable Transportation Scheduler / Driver to help our residents get to appointments and activities. This role blends organization with compassionate, on-the-go interaction with seniors.

You will coordinate schedules, assist residents in and out of the vehicle, and ensure the vehicle is clean and safe. Flexible availability is required as scheduling varies with needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years or older to drive company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Experience with seniors/healthcare preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexible availability

CareCore at Meadows is looking for a dependable and organized Transportation Scheduler / Driver to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience as a DSP, STNA, CNA, caregiver, or working with seniors who is looking for a role that combines resident interaction, organization, and transportation.

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate and schedule resident transportation for appointments and other needs

• Safely transport residents using the company vehicle

• Communicate with nursing staff, residents, families, and outside providers regarding transportation

• Keep transportation schedules organized and updated

• Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle as needed

• Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, safe, and ready for use

• Adjust transportation plans as facility and resident needs change

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be 25 years of age or older to drive the company vehicle

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

• Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred

• DSP, STNA, CNA, or caregiving experience is a plus

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Dependable, patient, and comfortable working directly with residents

• Must have flexible availability, as scheduling will vary based on transportation appointments and facility needs
