Job summary

TIC Power Construction, a TIC - The Industrial Company subsidiary, seeks a Care and Preservation (C&P) Manager to lead preservation for major power-generation assets. You will develop site-specific preservation plans, oversee storage, environmental controls, and documentation from receipt through turnover, coordinating with construction, quality, engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial construction, power generation, energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, commissioning, quality, maintenance, or asset preservation.
• Experience managing preservation programs for large capital projects.
• Strong understanding of equipment storage, maintenance, commissioning, and warranty requirements.
• Knowledge of power plant systems, heavy industrial equipment, and complex construction environments.
• Ability to interpret vendor manuals, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work at project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific Care and Preservation programs, procedures, and execution plans.
• Establish preservation requirements based on vendor recommendations, project specifications, and industry best practices.
• Ensure care and preservation activities align with project schedules, turnover milestones, and construction execution strategies.
• Lead planning efforts for long-term storage, laydown yard management, and equipment protection strategies.
• Maintain compliance with owner requirements, manufacturer warranties, and contractual obligations.
• Oversee preservation activities for major equipment including turbines, generators, HRSGs, transformers, pumps, motors, and switchgear.
• Verify proper storage, environmental controls, humidity monitoring, inspections, lubrication, rotation requirements, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Manage preservation records to maintain warranty validity and support project turnover.
• Lead and mentor Care and Preservation Coordinators, Specialists, and Inspectors.
