Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a Care Partner to support nursing staff and promote a positive patient experience. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help ensure safe, compassionate care across shifts on the Day unit.

Under RN direction, you will perform basic patient care tasks, communicate with the care team, and help maintain dignity, privacy, and comfort for patients and families in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification required.
• Graduation from a State approved CNA or Patient Care Tech program upon hire preferred.
• Rising Senior in good standing in related field or High School Diploma / GED (General-Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Excellence in Patient Experience by partnering with health care team, patient and family.
• Provides patient care under the direction of the RN, including hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and physical comfort measures.
• Assists in care delivery, data entry, and unit supplies management.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; communicates clearly with patients and families.
• Participates in unit performance improvement initiatives and promotes safety and teamwork.
