Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Care Partner to support nursing staff and deliver compassionate patient care. You will assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, and comfort measures, while collaborating with the care team to ensure a positive patient experience.

You will follow plan of care under licensed professionals, maintain confidentiality, and engage with patients and families in alignment with HIPAA and hospital policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Graduation from state-approved CNA or Patient Care Tech program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Excellence in patient experience by partnering with health care team, patient and family.
• Under RN direction, provide patient care including hygiene, nutrition, and comfort measures.
• Assist in direct patient admission and monitor key patient safety information.
• Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives and support shared leadership.
