Job summary

Medix is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to coordinate introductory video appointments, answer member questions, and guide families through care options. You will work with Care Delivery, Customer Support, Provider groups, and Product teams to ensure timely access to services and high-quality member experiences.

Ideal candidates have allied health background, 1–2 years direct patient care, and proficiency with Google Suite, CRM, EHRs, and Zendesk.

Qualifications

• Background in allied health, human services or healthcare.
• 1–2+ years of direct patient care experience.
• Experience in family planning and maternal-child health areas (pregnancy, postpartum, options counseling, menopause, adoption, surrogacy).
• Comfort with technology tools like Google Suite, CRM platforms, EHRs, and Zendesk.
• Certification or licensure in a healthcare-related field.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize tasks and manage a schedule of introductory video appointments.
• Answer questions about our product and provide personalized recommendations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Navigate members’ networks to ensure access to care and investigate support.
• Coordinate with team members to provide immediate access to care and follow up.
• Provide education and resources related to program needs and follow up with materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Care Delivery, Customer Support, Provider, and Product teams.
• Execute tasks to ensure optimal member experience and close outstanding items.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with other departments.
• Identify referral needs and collaborate with Maven providers.
• Anticipate and address members' social determinants of health needs.
