Job summary

Path House Medical Practice in Kirkcaldy is seeking a Care Navigator/Administrator to join our busy team on a part-time permanent basis. The role involves calling patients, booking appointments, signposting to the right clinician, and handling prescriptions with care.

You will need excellent telephone manners, strong customer service, discretion, and the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment. Prior healthcare or admin experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or administrative roles is advantageous.
• Excellent telephone manner and ability to manage sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Answering and managing incoming patient calls
• Booking, rearranging and cancelling appointments over the phone using clinical software
• Greeting and booking in patients at reception
• Booking, rearranging and cancelling appointments using clinical software
• Assessing patient needs and signposting to the appropriate clinician or service
• Processing repeat prescription requests
