Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Lead Caregiver in the San Mateo area to act as a shift leader, ensuring high‑quality resident care and guiding the caregiving team.

You will manage shift assignments, provide hands‑on ADL assistance, coach staff on quality standards, review ISP-aligned charting, and monitor resident health changes while promoting safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 18+.
• CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration certifications required.

Responsibilities include managing shift assignments, attendance, and coverage, providing hands‑on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), coaching caregivers on quality standards, reviewing charting to align with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), and monitoring resident health changes.

They support onboarding and mentor new team members, promote safety and compliance, and facilitate smooth shift transitions.

As both a working caregiver and frontline leader, they model professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service.
