Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on support to seniors, promoting safety, dignity, and independence. You will assist with daily activities, document ISP updates, and engage residents in meaningful conversations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 18+ years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, personal care).
• Follow and document updates to ISP plans.
• Encourage safety and independence during daily activities and conversations.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families and the care team.
• In Memory Care, create engaging activities for memory-impaired residents.

Job description

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to seniors, promoting their safety, dignity, and independence while building meaningful relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
• Follow and document updates to Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Encourage safety and independence while engaging residents in conversations and daily activities
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families and care team members
• In Memory Care settings, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
