Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while upholding food safety and sanitation guidelines. Interaction with residents and staff is part of daily duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior cooking experience is preferred. Vaccination policy compliance and ServSafe certification may be required depending on state/county

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cook or food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
