The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd is seeking a Cook for a care home to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals for residents. You will manage food orders, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure dietary needs are met while supporting management in service improvements.

This role requires at least 1 year in a cook/kitchen role, preferably with care home or healthcare experience, along with good organisational and communication skills. Weekend preparation and high-quality service are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in cook, catering or kitchen role.
• Desirable Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in care home, healthcare, supported living or hospitality is preferred.
• Good organisational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve all meals for residents at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Plan menus to meet dietary and nutritional needs of residents.
• Order supplies and maintain stock levels.
• Prepare meals in advance as needed, including weekends.
• Ensure food hygiene, health and safety standards are followed.
