Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow menus, ensure quality, and maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness, while supporting a collaborative team.

You will assist with inventory, accommodate dietary restrictions, and deliver friendly service to residents and staff, upholding sanitation guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with building occupants and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state law.
• Residency within the service area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
