Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Business Office Manager in Oregon to oversee resident billing, accounts receivable, and daily finance operations. Key duties include preparing bills for state agencies, Medicare and private payors, and managing the collection process.

The role also handles licenses, insurance proofs, and monthly close activities, with oversight of HR/payroll as needed and collaboration with other business office colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains financial files for residents related to admission, billing and AR collection.
• Prepares accurate billing for services to state agencies, Medicare, VA, private payors and others.
• Maintains current copies of facility licenses and insurance proof.
• Updates cash receipts, account research, adjustments and daily census data.
• Reviews payment policies with new admissions and responsible parties.
• Documents business office processes on an on-going basis.
• Administers and reconciles resident trust accounts and petty cash monthly.
• Performs month-end close procedures and reports submission.
• When assigned by CEO, supervises HR/Payroll designee and other business staff.
• Provides support to other Business Office Managers as a partner.
