Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• 2 years' experience in a veterinary setting required.
• 2 years' experience as a veterinary receptionist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in stressful situations.
• Manages lobby flow, answers concerns, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and information about services.
• Inputs data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate transactions.
