Strive Physical Therapy is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our Columbus team. The role handles patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications with a welcoming, professional approach.

No prior medical experience is required; we provide comprehensive training on EMR navigation, scheduling workflows, and HIPAA guidelines to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a customer-facing or patient-facing role.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with patients and colleagues.
• Basic computer proficiency; willing to learn scheduling and EMR systems.
• No prior medical experience required—training provided.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and calls.
• Review referrals, update patient records, and explain next steps to patients.
• Keep patient flow by confirming appointments and handling waitlists and cancellations.
• Collect copays and payments accurately, with basic reconciliation when needed.
• Uphold HIPAA privacy in all front desk interactions and documentation.
