High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
Comfortable communicating on the phone with professionalism.
Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn scheduling software and emails.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
Keep patient flow moving by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and handling cancellations.
Collect copays, balances, and other payments with basic tracking.
Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards.
